Taproot's partners, both trained as architects share a passion for building with responsible high quality materials and pride themselves on the exceptional level of customer service they provide their dealers as well as the specification industry as a whole. Taproot having brought Smith+Fong products to Canada in 2006, remain Smith+Fong's exclusive distributor in Canada committed to importing and selling their full portfolio of products through an established network of respected wholesalers and retailers.

Smith+Fong Co. is the manufacturer of Plyboo®, the most respected name in bamboo plywood and flooring and now available in FSC certified material. Smith+Fong also produce Durapalm®, an exotic and beautiful range of flooring and plywood derived from palms. Their latest product development includes a new line of FSC engineered flooring, Sideways, manufactured in the northern USA from North American species hardwoods.
